Wallpapers included in the Windows 11 theme "Glow" are simple and aesthethically pleasing. However, they've been rendered with low color gamut and compressed with JPEG. This causes a big problem for users with VA display panels that are absolutely unforgiving when it comes to compression artifacts.
There is another issue - aspect ratio. All of the original Microsoft wallpapers are rendered at 16:9, which makes the experience for 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratio users even worse.
To that end, I've set out to create a set of wallpapers that will be an approximation of the same art style... But in HDR and 32:9. I'm aware that it doesn't look exactly the same - I took some artistic license.
